The Thirty-First Prayer Fellowship

During testimony time, to our surprise, the first person to share a testimony was a new lady, Upasana.  She testified about how her mother had come for prayer last week just before surgery for cancer and Jesus had helped her.  Jesus had given her such a peace of mind, she was not at all worried about her surgery.  Furthermore, Jesus gave her a unusually speedy recovery after the surgery.  Even the doctors were amazed at the speed of her recovery.  After this testimony, many others came forward to testify of the Lord’s goodness.

At the end of service, we prayed for a couple of hours for the various needs.  Many felt the healing touch of Jesus as we laid hands on them.

On Monday, a whole host of children showed up for tuition.  Suvneet came for Bible study.  My sister tutored the children in English.  They enjoyed learning their colors.

In the evening a family came over for prayer.  Some of them had come on Sunday and received a healing from Jesus.  They have an elderly grandmother who has alzeihmers.  We shared with them about the Lord’s love and prayed for their various needs.

At night I received a call from the lady with diabetes we have been praying for for a little over one week.  She just got tested.  Her blood sugar levels have gone from over 400 to almost normal.  They are just 10-20 points too high.

Scripture for the Day:
I sought the Lord and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.  Psalm 34:4.
