The Tenth Miracle Meeting

In the afternoon, Kalpana came for Bible Study.  We continued our study on repentance.  After Kalpna left, I waited for the children to come for tuition, but they did not show up.  I was so disappointed.  I assumed they would not come for the Wednesday Miracle Meeting either.  So, I decided to take a nap.  I set my alarm for 6:00 PM.  I woke up, realized none of the children had come for the miracle meeting and went back to sleep.

A little past 6:00 PM, Dad came to my room and woke me up.  He said, “Why are you sleeping?  Your kids are waiting for you!”  Nahim, Sarika and Mahima were waiting for the service to begin.  God is so good.  Golu, Vinod and a new kid, Om Prakash, joined us a few minutes later.  I had Mom share her sermon from Sunday with the children about seeking first the kingdom of God (none of these children had attended on Sunday, so it was a new word for them).

In the evening, the neighbor with the vision problem came for prayer.  We prayed for his eyes and he experienced the healing power of God.  He also has been under a lot of stress and tension.  As we prayed, he felt much lighter.

Today was another low key day.  In the morning the same man from Priya called.  He told me that he has a chronic sinus problem.  We prayed and he felt better.  He also said that since we have been praying for him, his entire day goes much better.  Jesus is carrying his tensions for him.

In the evening, the neighbor with the poor eye sight came again.  We spent some time sharing with his family and praying.

Scripture for the Day:
For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.  Romans 6:10.
