At night, the neighbor with the vision problem brought over some friends of his from Delhi. The man had kidney problems and hearing problems. The lady has arthritis. As we prayed for the lady, she felt the stiffness and pain leave. She was a little surprised.
On Thursday, the boys came for tuition as usual. Also Kavita Aunty, Shilpi, Meena Aunty and Meena Aunty’s brother and sister-in-law came for prayer. A pastor and his wife from Punjab also came to visit. It was totally God’s timing. They helped share and pray with the people who came for prayer. There are a lot of inner healing and oppression issues these people are facing. As we prayed, they felt a release. Pastor Ajit and Anita bhabhi also prayed for the kids. The boys were a little shy at first, but they were happy to get prayer. Vinod told me that his brother-in-law is sober again, as a response to prayer!
On Friday, we spent the day in prayer. We prayed from approximately 3 PM to midnight. Nahim, Golu and Vinod joined us for prayer as well. It was amazing to see such young guys praying with all of their hearts for so long. They were very earnest in their prayers.
Today, my sister and her kids came to spend three weeks with us. Her kids are: Yeshmina who is 8, Arshana who is 6 and Raahil who is 1 ½ years old. Raahil has changed so much in the past six months. He is all grown up. He talks a bit now. He runs around. He is into everything!
Nahim and Golu came for tuition today. We spent some time on their math and Hindi. Golu can read, but he doesn’t seem to understand what he is reading. But, he hates doing reading comprehension and usually finds an excuse to go home when it is time to study reading comprehension.
Scripture for the Day:
Consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly; gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the Lord your God, and cry out to the Lord. Joel 1:14.
