My voice was completely gone.  I have been experiencing throat problems.  I think it is because I have been talking (praying) too much.  My vocal cords must be tired.  There was no mic system, so I had to yell to be heard over the buzz of fans and crying babies.  After sharing our testimony and a little more, my voice could not handle it.  So, I instructed the people on the baptism of the Holy Spirit and we began to pray for them to receive the Holy Spirit.

As Mom, my sister and the boys (Hemant and Deep) went out into the crowd to pray for those who wanted the Holy Spirit, a possessed lady began to act up.  Hemant and Deep later told me that her eyes were like the devil’s.  Mom prayed for her and cast out whatever was in her.  Many received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

But, many were anxious to get prayer for various ailments.  Mothers were shoving their ill children into my arms.  I began to pray for deaf ears, dumb mouths, crooked feet, etc.  At first I was a little disappointed, not seeing any huge miracle happen.  But then, things broke and the Lord began to move.  We saw some amazing amazing miracles.  A young girl with a thyroid problem had the beginning of a goiter in her throat.  We prayed several times and the goiter disappeared!  An elderly lady had been paralyzed on her left side due to a stroke.  As we prayed, the pain lessened and she was able to lift her arm.  A young man had rheumatoid arthritis.  The arthritis was so severe that his hip had been fused.  He was in extreme pain and could hardly move due to the stiffness.  I asked Deep to pray for him.  Within minutes, the man was lifting his arm in ways he could not before.  A young man was nearsighted.  After Deep and Mom prayed for him, his vision completely cleared up and he prayed for and received the Holy Spirit.  Young girls came up to my sister for prayer and asked, “Now that we believe in Jesus, does that mean we have to leave everything else?”  A young girl with polio was able to wiggle her toes after prayer, something she had not been able to do in the past.  A man with a huge hump on his back began to feel the hump disappear.

For the boys, the favorite miracle happened as the meeting was winding down.  They went to a house with my sister.  There was a little girl there, maybe 7-8 years old.  She was extremely nearsighted.  She could not read a calendar that was five feet away from her on the wall.  My sister prayed for her four times and her vision improved slightly.  Hemant and Deep decided to also pray for the girl.  The fifth time they all prayed together and immediately the girl was completely healed.  Hemant tested in all sorts of ways to verify the healing!

On Saturday we were finally able to take my sister shopping.  It was one of those “shop ‘til you drop” days.  But as we were at one store, they took my sister and mom upstairs to show them some clothes.  As I waited downstairs with one of the shopkeepers, we began to talk.  He asked me where I was from.  I told him I was from the US, but now was settled in Faridabad.  He asked me what I was doing there.  I told him that I am trying to start an orphanage and school.  He asked me if I had a name for the orphanage.  I told him we would pray about it.  He asked, “And God will give you the name?”  I told him, “Yes.”  He said, “Those are just psychological games.”  I told him that was not true.  I began to tell him of how Jesus speaks to His children.  Then, all of a sudden, I asked him, “Do you have any illness or pain in your body?”  He said he had been experiencing extreme pain in his side for the past few days.  He didn’t know what it was.  I told him, if I prayed for him in the name of Jesus, the Lord would heal him.  He let me pray for him.  The Lord healed him!  Then I had a chance to testify to the man.

Scripture for the Day:
The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them.  Psalm 34:7.
