Prayer in a Mansion

Now, just going to these people’s house was amazing.  They live in a mansion and even have an elevator in the house!  They seem to have more servants than residents in the house.  There is a beautiful fountain outside the house.  All the floors are shiny marble floors with Persian carpets.  They have their own tennis courts, swimming pool and Japanese garden.  I think I need a house like theirs :o )

When we got home from prayer, my nephew, Suvneet, came over for Bible study.  We are just finishing up Genesis.  I always love to talk to my nephew because he is so on fire for God.  He has been testifying right and left to different people, even at his new workplace.

After Suvneet left, it was time for the Wednesday night miracle meeting, but due to the rain (it had been pouring since morning), no one came.  So, the family just spent the time in worship and prayer.  Just as we were ending prayer, my other nephew, Puneet came over for prayer.  He has been so busy with grad school that I have barely seen him.  He has committed to putting God first and trying to attend church on Sundays.

Finally, at night, we went out to dinner.  After that, at 9:30 PM, the phone calls started for prayer.  For approximately two hours, I spent time in prayer with various people.  This seems to have become a routine.  God is moving.

Scripture for the Day:
Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”  Acts 2:37.
