So, anyway, to make a long story short, after running a bunch of local errands with Mom, Khan Bhaiya and I ventured out to Delhi to pick up the application form for the radio announcer position. When we got there, we were told that there was no such application! However, after an hour of running around, Khan Bhaiya was finally able to locate the application for me and we headed home. Now, let’s see what happens. If nothing else, I will have a fun story to tell about the audition (assuming they call me for an audition).
Pinky called to testify that her Mom is feeling better after prayer. She said that her Mom’s hearing has returned 50%. Earlier due to a fall, she lost the hearing in one ear. The doctors said there was nothing they could do. But, God is above all doctors. When they can’t do anything, He can.
When I came home, Mr. Gupta and his family came over. Their faith is growing tremendously. We spent a lot of time just discussing the Bible and clarifying little doubts they had. They had us pray for their son again. He used to wake up at night screaming. After prayer, the Lord healed him. But, for some reason, it seemed to have started again. So, we prayed and claimed back the victory.
Saturday was spent tying up loose ends. We needed to pack and get everything in order for our trip. Although I am nervous to leave behind all of the work the Lord has started, I keep reminding myself that it is His work, He has to sustain it. I know He will. I have surrendered it into His hands. There is nothing else I can do.
I got a call from the elderly lady who has the breathing and knee problem. She had some tests run and the results all came back normal…Praise God! She is feeling MUCH better.
Scripture for the Day:
We set our eyes not on what we see but on what we cannot see. What we see will last only a short time, but what we cannot see will last forever. II Corinthians 4:18.
